Rev Catriona Hood appointed as Scotland’s first Hub Minister and Hub-Style Ministries Coordinator
Rev Catriona Hood was introduced as Scotland’s first Hub Minister and Hub-Style Ministries Coordinator at a Service of Introduction in Tarbert, Loch Fyne, on Saturday 10th February. The South Argyll Hub, for which she will be responsible, includes Tarbert, four other churches in north and central Kintyre, and the island parish of Gigha. The service was led by Ms Marilyn Shedden, past Moderator of Presbytery and current Business Convenor, who spoke in her sermon of the new ideas and new experiments being introduced into the life of the Church of Scotland, as the Kirk faces the challenges of the present and future. The Photo shows Catriona with the green scarf in the centre, with Marilyn on her right, and other members of Presbytery around.
On Tuesday 13th February, Argyll Presbytery will meet again, this time in Inveraray, to Introduce Mrs Alison Hay as Hub Ministries Coordinator for North and East Argyll.
